FAQS

1)How do I pick up my vehicle? Vehicles may be picked up by appointment only.  Please call approximately 45 minutes before you plan to pick up your vehicle to ensure that a driver will be able to meet you at that time.  Appointments are available 24 hours per day/7 days per week.  The driver will be able to tell you the lot location, any police releases you may need, as well as the total cost of your bill.

2) How do I remove a vehicle abandoned on my property?  If you are not the registered owner of the vehicle, we can only tow the vehicle if you have already obtained permission from the police department.  If you have already obtained permission from the police department, please call us to have the vehicle removed.  Note: We will verify the permission with the police department.  Laws vary by town.  For example, in the Town of Amherst, you may remove a vehicle with expired registration after six hours.  For vehicles with valid registration you must wait 7 days, including 5 days after you have affixed a notice to the vehicle of your intent to remove it.  Please contact your local police department for more detailed information.

4) I own a parking lot.  How do I designate the lot for customer vehicles only? How do I remove vehicles that are not customers?  Depending on the town, you may post a sign limiting the parking to certain times and/or categories of customers.  You may then have the vehicle removed if such sign is violated.  Please contact us for detailed information on how to construct such sign.
